Since the opening of the cave for non-divers the total surveyed length of the Bärenschacht has been more than doubled. Significant new parts of the cave could have been found thanks to systematic exploration. Furthermore the cave was pushed towards north by successfully penetrating the big North-Sump that measures now 450m. With this the future connection with the big master cave „Réseau Siebenhengste-Hohgant“ comes within reach. This article recapitulates briefly all significant expedition results since turn of the century.
