Cave morphology and underground landscape result of the evolution of a cave system according the environmental context. The morphologies of the galleries, the characteristics and the quantity of the deposit are the markers of these phases and their dynamics of evolution. They constitute a guideline to understand the different phases of the karstogenesis. Dating methods allow us to understand the chronology and duration of this evolution. But, an important question is still open. What is the actual landscape of a cave, and which mechanisms are involved in it? Grotte de Chenecey is a major cave to measure the evolution of a cave in the short term, (on a century scale) and observe the influence of underground climatology on karstogenesis.
