Photo Competition

The purpose of this competition is to encourage both young and experienced cave photographers to offer their best photographs for display at the conference and for a rating. Sinterlaken 2019 is a national congress and therefore we will accept submissions from photographers that proof reference to Switzerland. I.e. accepted are:

  • Submissions from photographers living in Switzerland and
  • submissions from other photographers if the photos were made in Switzerland.

In the reviewing process consideration will be given to the artistic, technical and aesthetic qualities. One prize will be awarded by the jury in each category and, in addition, distinction awards will highlight examples of praiseworthy submissions. The congress participants will be invited to rate the best photograph for the audience award.
